Almost there! I don’t want to jinx it, but I have nearly made it. Just one more day tomorrow and that’s (finally!) a New Year’s promise kept! Around Day 18, I started to find a style for the corresponding drawings, focusing on the individual plant species. I bring home a sample from the forest, always something that has fallen to the ground. I use it as a sort of stencil, painting directly over it, and then layer the color and details on top.
One more day tomorrow and I’m complete! Thinking of rounding up to a nice, yogic 40 Days!
